Terms & Policies

Terms of Service

Our Terms of Service establish the legal agreement between you and Spirit Collective. This policy outlines your rights and responsibilities as a member, the rules for using our platform, account creation and termination procedures, intellectual property rights, and limitations of liability. It also covers the specific terms for vendors and instructors who sell products or offer courses through our marketplace. By using Spirit Collective, you agree to these binding terms.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect (including profile data, payment information, and usage analytics), how we use it to provide and improve our services, and who we share it with (like payment processors and service providers). We detail your rights regarding your data, including how to access, update, or delete your information, and our security measures to protect it. We also explain our use of cookies and tracking technologies.

Refund & Returns Policy

Our marketplace empowers individual vendors to set their own return and refund policies, which must be clearly displayed in their stores. This policy outlines the general framework for returns, the dispute resolution process when issues arise, and the timeframes for requesting refunds. While Spirit Collective provides the platform and mediation services, refunds are processed directly between buyers and vendors through their payment accounts. Digital products, physical goods, and services may have different return conditions.

Acceptable Use Policy

This policy protects our community by defining what cannot be sold or done on Spirit Collective. It lists prohibited products (like weapons, illegal items, and adult content), forbidden activities (like harassment, fraud, and spam), and the consequences for violations. We use a three-strike system for most violations, with immediate termination for serious breaches. The policy also explains how we detect violations and how users can report concerns.

Cookies Policy

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep you logged in, analyze site traffic, and improve your experience. This policy explains the types of cookies we use (essential, functional, analytics, and marketing), how to manage your cookie preferences, and how third-party services like payment processors may also use cookies. You can control most cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly without them.

Intellectual Property Infringement Report Form

We take intellectual property rights seriously and provide a formal process for rights holders to report potential infringement by vendors on our platform. This form allows copyright and trademark owners to submit detailed reports of suspected violations, including identification of their original work, the infringing content, and a declaration under penalty of perjury. Once submitted, our team reviews reports within 2-3 business days, removes infringing content pending investigation, and notifies the vendor involved. Vendors may counter-claim if they believe they have rights to use the content. False or misleading claims may result in legal liability, so all reports must be submitted in good faith with accurate information.

Data Deletion Instructions

You have the right to delete your Spirit Collective account and associated data. This page provides step-by-step instructions for requesting account deletion, explains what data will be removed versus what we must retain for legal compliance (like transaction records), and the timeframe for processing deletion requests. Note that content you’ve posted publicly may remain visible in others’ messages or forums even after account deletion, and vendors should download any necessary business records before requesting deletion.
